RAMU   AND  GARDEN

A young boy Ramu loves doing gardening work. He made a garden in his house. He brought many seeds and plants from all places. After few days of hard work, plenty of flowers plants and vegetable plants started growing in his garden. Every day he used to pour water and clean the garden. He made his garden very beautiful. Who ever go his home would surely spend some time in his garden.

One day while cleaning the garden he saw few caterpillars crawling on cabbage plant, eating away its leaves. He was very much worried as what will happen to his plants. He called mother with loud voice “mother! Please come here, few caterpillars are crawling on my garden plants and eating leaves. Please help me to remove them”.

His mother came there. She showed Ramu a colorful butterfly flying around and said “do you like those beautiful butterflies to be in your garden?” Ramu said “Yes of course, I love to have them plenty”.

Mother said” Then allow those caterpillars in your garden for few days. Those are the ones will become butterflies later.”

Every day Ramu used to look at those caterpillars and slowly he got adjusted with them. One day all of them vanished. Few days later he found plenty of beautiful butterflies started flying around.

The garden was filled with many colorful butterflies. The garden became full of flowers, fruits, vegetables very soon. Ramu enjoyed the beauty of his garden double folded. He came to know later while reading a book that plants give food to caterpillars and in turn butterflies play significant role in helping flower to become vegetables and fruits.

Ramu realized that every thing in nature is mutually support each other and he should always live in harmony with Nature.
